When you book an appointment
When we are arranging a date, I work with the details you give me for that purpose: your name and surname, your telephone number and, where you give it, your e-mail address. Alongside that I keep basic information about the animal you entrust to me: its name, its breed, and whatever matters for caring for it safely during the visit.
Why
So that I can agree a date with you, reach you if something changes, and know how to care for your pet safely. What matters to me is set out on the Before visiting the salon page.
On what basis
This is processing under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, that is, performance of a contract and steps taken before entering into one.
For how long
I keep your contact details and the care notes for as long as you bring your animal to me, and for three years after the last visit.
When you hire a stroller, a trailer or a cage
A rental agreement is drawn up when equipment is hired. Under the operating rules it records the renter's name, the pick-up date and the length of the rental. At handover I check your identity against your identity card and copy the details needed to identify you from it into the agreement.
Why
I need these details to enter into and perform the rental agreement, to hand the item over and take it back, and to deal with damage should any occur.
On what basis
Performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
For how long
I keep the signed agreement for three years from the day the item is returned.
Records I am required to keep
Payment in the salon is in cash, so I do not work with payment card numbers or with bank details.
Records I am required by law to keep, in particular under Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on Accounting, I keep for the period the law lays down. The legal ground is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, that is, compliance with a legal obligation.
Who may have access to your data
I do not sell your data to anyone and I do not pass it to anyone for advertising. Besides me, it may be accessible to the providers of the services I need in order to run the salon and the website, always only to the extent their work requires:
- the provider of my mailbox, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, because the e-mail you write to me is stored with them;
- the webhosting provider, WEDOS Internet, a.s., Masarykova 1230, 373 41 Hluboká nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, company ID 28115708, because the site runs on their server;
With Google, data may be transferred to third countries (the USA), on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The hosting is in the Czech Republic, and your data does not leave the European Union that way.
What this website does
The site measures no traffic, carries no advertising and loads nothing from other sites during ordinary browsing. Everything you see on it is stored right here.
Like every web server, the one this site runs on keeps a log of accesses: the IP address you came from, the date and time, the address of the page requested and the type of browser. The hosting provider keeps these records to run and secure the service, and holds them for no more than six months.
The site sets no cookies. Your browser remembers one thing only: that you closed the cookie notice, so that you do not have to close it again on every page. That stays on your device, it never reaches me, and it disappears when you clear this site's data in your browser.
The map on the Contact information page is only a link. It loads from Google Maps only after you click it, and data related to your connection may then be passed to Google. Google Maps is not loaded when the page is simply displayed.
Your rights
You may ask me what data I hold about you and ask for a copy of it. You may ask me to correct it, complete it, restrict its processing or erase it. You may also ask me to hand it to you in a machine-readable form, and you may object to the processing.
If I process anything on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
